Key representatives from governments and civil aviation sectors and senior officials of transport ministries will meet to discuss current challenges and the changing landscape of the aviation industry at the second annual ALS. Presiding as the conference Honorary Chairman will be Mr. Giovanni Bisignani, Director General and CEO of IATA.

This summit is co-organised in collaboration with Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Ministry of Transport (MOT).

Attendance for this event is by invitation only.

The Asia Pacific Security Conference (APSEC) aims to provide an opportunity for defence officials, military personnel, defence and aviation industry leaders, and academics from around the world to meet and have a substantial exchange of views on current international concerns. The Conference also aims to create a conducive atmosphere for discussion on the subject of security with the aim of improving global peace in the years to come. This conference is co-organised by S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies and Singapore Airshow & Events Pte Ltd.

The theme for APSEC 2010 is “The Evolution of Military Power in the 21st Century”, with panel discussions on Asia-Pacific Military Transformation and The Future of Airpower.

APSEC 2010 will be held at Suntec Singapore on Monday, 1 February 2010, from 8:30am to 1:30pm. There will be an APSEC Welcome Dinner at Suntec Singapore on Sunday, 31 January 2010, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.

Senior executives of the Aviation industry are welcome to participate in the conference as delegates of the industry. The registration fee is SGD2,500 (inclusive of Welcome Dinner).
