Vice President CFM Commercial Programs GE Aerospace

Tom was appointed to his current position of Vice President, CFM Commercial Programs, in April 2023. He is responsible for the commercial narrowbody aircraft engine businesses and GE’s CFM JV partnership with Safran, including the CFM56 and LEAP product lines which are the largest engine fleets in the industry.

Early in his career, Tom held various roles in Engineering and Customer/Product Support.

He subsequently transitioned into several executive and senior executive level P&L roles, leading GEnx Services, Materials Services, CF6/GEnx Product Lines, and Customized Services Agreements ($ per flight hour agreements).

He was then promoted to Vice President, Americas Sales, responsible for all GE/CFM Customer relationships and sales activities across North and South America.

Most recently, Tom served as Vice President and General Manager, After Market Strategic Solutions. In this position, he led customer service and the largest P&L in the business, spanning across new spares, used parts and repair material channels, implementing solutions to help Customers manage their engines with OEM technology, and optimizing the MRO network for both current and next-generation products.

Tom originally joined GE as an intern, and then later as a member of the Edison Engineering Program. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering (1995) and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Mechanics (1997), both from the University of Cincinnati. He will celebrate his 30 year anniversary with GE in 2023
