Jay MERKLESenior Director Regulatory Affairs, Supernal, LLCMr Merkle is the Senior Director Regulatory Affairs at Supernal. His experience spans flight deck design, Air Traffic Management (ATM) research, ATM system development, UAS integration and AAM integration. During his career with the Federal Aviation Administration, Mr. Merkle was the Chief System Engineer in ATM, Chief Architect for NexGen and Deputy Program Manager for ATM. Mr. Merkle finished his career at the Federal Aviation Administration as the Executive Director for UAS Integration. He led the FAA’s regulatory efforts for Beyond Visual Line Sight operations.
