Mr David SO was appointed Senior Vice President Base Maintenance on 21st October 2025 and is responsible for the Base Maintenance business segment across the network.
Prior to his latest appointment, he served as Senior Vice President Corporate Planning & Continuous Improvement and as Senior Vice President Transformation and Technology. His experience includes engineering, fleet management, innovation and technology, enterprise continuous improvement, corporate planning and supply chain management.
He joined SIAEC in 2005 as an Executive Engineer, specialising in airframe systems and aircraft structures. Between 2011 and 2015, he held various senior positions in Engineering and Fleet Management Divisions, including Vice President Engineering and Fleet Technical Management.
Mr So served on the board of several aerospace companies in Singapore including Fuel Accessory Service Technologies Pte Ltd, Additive Flight Solutions Pte Ltd, Component Aerospace Singapore Pte Ltd, Jamco Aero Design & Engineering Company and Jamco Singapore Private Limited.
He sat on the Council of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and is a member of the Engineering Accreditation Board and Chartered Engineering Board. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore and is a Chartered Engineer.
