Henry HOOIChief Executive Officer and Founder, Volar Air MobilityFounding Member of IAGAHenry Hooi is currently the Founder and Executive Chairman of pH Capital Limited, a Hong Kong-based boutique advisory company he formed in 2013. pH Capital focuses on meaningful societal impact projects in a number of verticals including food security, green mobility solutions, healthcare and mediatech.
In green mobility solutions, Mr. Hooi has founded a Hong Kong based green aviation company, Volar Air Mobility Limited seeking to commercialize the world’s first electric multi seater aircraft and to develop a pioneering AI enabled flight management system for green private aviation.
Prior to setting up pH Capital, Mr. Hooi held various roles in the banking industry, including the Chief Risk Officer for Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan, Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield Capital Asia. Mr. Hooi is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director and chairs Audit Committees for a number of companies in Singapore (Neon Global (previously known as Cityneon), and Hong Kong (Volcano Spring International Holdings Limited and Frontier Services Group Limited, both HKSE- listed companies).
