Managing Director & Vice President, Commercial Aviation, Embraer China

Guo Qing was appointed Managing Director of Embraer China. Based in Beijing. His role oversees Embraer’s operation strategy in the Greater China region, including corporate planning, site management and external relations. He is also leading the business development of commercial aviation aircrafts in the region, providing customers with Embraer’s fleet solutions that include fleet planning, aircraft performance and economics evaluation, technical and operational support, aircraft procurement and sales financing. 

Prior to joining Embraer in 2002, Mr. Guo worked at Airbus China in customer marketing and at China Railways in mechanical engineering.

Guo Qing received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Changsha Railway Institute. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of International Business and Economic in Beijing, and a MBA from Greenwich University in UK. He is a visiting professor at China Civil Aviation Management School.
